The newspaper runs the headline “Tragedy and Triumph” under a picture of the body of a woman slain during the celebration of the Red Sox comeback win over the Yankees in the American League Championship Series. The front page prompts complaints of insensitivity and bad taste by readers and leads to an apology by publisher Patrick Purcell.
